Pan Canadian Benchmarks for Surgery

Canada’s First Ministers signed a 10-year health renewal and funding agreement on September 16, 2004. That agreement led to the establishment of the first pan Canadian benchmarks for access to health services announced on December 12, 2005. Saskatchewan is committed to meeting the pan Canadian benchmarks while continuing to address its own target time frames for surgery.

The following table outlines the pan Canadian benchmarks and the planned time frames for their achievement in Saskatchewan (click on the link).
